Ribbon Nominations

Use the form below to nominate entries in this year's festival for prize ribbons. Nominations are open to anyone, and a ballot can nominate one or more entries for a Best in Show ribbon and (optionally) suggest one or more custom Audience Awards.

We respectfully request that nominators:

Nominations are open until 11:59 PM Pacific Time on May 9th, 2025. You must confirm your ballot with a functioning email address. (Your address will only be used to confirm your nominations.)

Best In Show

Please select one or more Main Festival entries to nominate for a 2025 Best In Show ribbon.

Audience Awards

You may also suggest your own ribbons to give to games. Ideas include “Best Story,” “Best Twine Game,” “Best Presentation,” “Most Laughs,” or “Trippiest.” You may make as many Audience Award noms as you like, both per game and in total.

All of the Main Festival entries above are eligible for Audience Awards, as well as those in the Back Garden and New Game Plus categories:

  • anpa ma, by Vivian Rose
  • As I Sat on a Sunny Bank, by Senica Thing
  • A Bottle from the Future, by SKIT
  • Marbles, D, and the Sinister Spotlight, by Drew Cook
  • Portrait with Wolf, by Drew Cook
  • Succor, by Loressa, Matthias Speksnijder and Dactorwatson

Write nominations one per line, in the format game: award. Keep them short: no more than a couple words long. Example:

   Chicken Quest: Best Poultry
   Adam's Journey: Coolest Art

Please keep Audience Awards positive and short. The organizer will vet submissions before passing them on to authors, and authors may choose up to three audience awards to pin to their game after the festival closes.

Note: This form can be resubmitted using the same email address to update an existing ballot. If you have trouble with the form, you're welcome to submit your nominations via email instead to the address in the footer.
